I was in a happy doodling mood last night so I came up with another bot design. These designs are mostly mean to inspire and can also act as guidelines for the competition. They aren’t actual entries.

This design has a lot of curves which give it a really nice shape but would make it one of the trickier designs to build. To simplify this the legs are the same radius as the central ring. The ring would probably also be made in 6 parts (the same size as each leg) so we’d get a lot of practice making those parts, hopefully they’d look quite good by the last one.

A wooden tripod could be constructed in 3 of the legs for a stable base and this wooden sub frame would probably run up into the gun area. The downsides is that a massive gun like this perhaps doesn’t look so good on the group.
